North East Paddle

I woke this morning to find the sun cracking the slabs, a beautiful morning to wake up to. A quick breakfast and it was load the kayak and kit onto and into the car, a quick forecast from the met office west F2-3 sea smooth -slight of I went.
Scarborough was my first thought, got there park by the RNLI station, the view along the coast was amazing with the sun beating down, finally a hint of summer. Boat and kit unloaded a bit of a carry as it was a really low tide today. The plan was to head south towards Cayton Bay then onto Filey Brigg. Photos and video below.

  1. Looks great out there - I've never been down that way so it is good to see it from a kayakers perspective. I like the short video as well - what camera do you use? Cheers, Nick.

  2. Answered my own question but have another - what do you think of the GoPro? I am thinking of getting one for myself. Cheers, Nick
