Vancouver Trip

Short trip to Vancouver, loved the place. Just a few pictures of this whistle stop tour of the area. Downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain looking back on Vancouver, a visit to Vancouver Island by sea plane, short drive to Whistler home of the 2010 winter olympics. heading back to Canada October, paragliding, caving and sea kayaking. just the vastness of the place.

Yorkshire Dales

Friday 22nd June 2012 decision time, was it to be Skye for sea kayaking or the Yorkshire Dales for a spot of caving and paragliding. With the impending weather I went for the Yorkshire Dales. Arrived at ribblehead Friday dinner time it had been raining all morning and carried on well into the night, awoke Saturday morning the weather had eased but really to wet to cave so opted for a stroll from Clapham up Little Inglebrough checking various cave locations.
Windy with showers. Sunday still to wet for caving so walked from ingleton to the summit of Inglebrough thick mist strong wind.
Monday light wind so decided to do some paragliding just out side Ingleton at a place called Tow Scar, very light at first not enogh to ridge soar but then picked up and had a good session.
